New Road

New Road north end. Asbestos cement roofed lean-to shed of no merit though kept tidy and in use..
New Road north end house, hood moulds to windows, decorated door case with semi-circular head, oversailing bracketed eaves. Interdigitated false quoins at centre, partially obscured by road sign and true quoins to north. Left shutter or doorway is regrettable. Merit
New Road, second block from north. Hood mould over remaining upper window, but remainder altered. Quoins. Of merit as it is part of a group.
New Road, central buildings (probably Nos. 4 & 5). The roofscapes and gable end contribute to the street scene, though the shutters do not.
New Road to south, possibly No 3. Moulded heads and keystones to two windows. Quoins to north. Shopfront shutter undesirable.
No 25 Eastover or No 1 (25A) New Road. Moulded heads to divided two-light sash windows. Oversailing eaves supported on thin tapered corbels. Cluttered facade, not helped by waiting retriction sign and post. Merit
