F. W. Dodden's Internment receipt.
Frank West Dodden was killed in a hunting accident near Spaxton during the Great War.
While out rabbiting with Lieutenant Philip Cedric Hagon of the 3rd Batt. Somerset Light Infantary and Mr Robert Washer, licensee of the Nag's Head, West Street, Bridgwater, his gun misfired and wounded him in the right hip. He died fifteen minutes after admission to the Bridgwater Hospital.
He was fourty six years old and left his wife, Mary Dodden.
