Charter Hall west wall detail of Royal Crest. The College of Arms says "The Arms shown are those used by the Hanoverian Kings between the erection of Hanover into a Kingdom in 1816, and the accession of Queen Victoria in 1837. We can thus date the depiction to this period, representing the reigns of George III, George IV and William IV." Possibly painted for the Assize Court by W H Hawkins.
